I started by brainstorming ideas that captured SORI's spirit. This phase was crucial in understanding the client’s vision and the app's core values.
After several discussions, I started translating these ideas into hand-drawn sketches. These initial sketches ranged from abstract representations of learning and growth to more literal interpretations involving books, lightbulbs, and digital elements. I presented diverse sketches to the client, ensuring a broad spectrum of concepts.

The client's enthusiasm for a combination mark logo was unmistakable in our conversations. I fused the distinct qualities of wordmark and lettermark styles, aiming for a universally appealing design.
